| Let 9/12 stand as the beginning... We're not through!!! |

Hello from Right Principles We are proud to say that we partied hard. The 9/12 rally was a rousing success. The guests were civil and friendly and the place look orderly when it was all said and done. No matter what anyone says, the crowds were huge and all of us at Right Principles can attest to that fact. The "Ted Baxter" hosts on MSNBC can continue to talk about a crowd of 75k as announced by some D.C. fire department spokesperson all they want. We were there and saw it. It was TREMEDOUS!!! Next stop, New Jersey's gubernatorial election to ring in the ballot-box season. Think about last Saturday's event this way... On 1/20/09 roughly the same number of people showed up to celebrate President Obama's inauguration. Less than eight months later Americans from all over the nation came back to express disapproval with the President and Congress. That's a record; especially in tough economic times. We thank South Carolina's Senator DeMint for standing with us. Take a look at Right Principles' opinion on Health Care Reform. |

| Good
Morning USA!!! by Tim Lenox (9/1/09) This has nothing to do with the time of day. President Reagan encouraged us to be our best and gave us a renewed sense of America’s greatness. When he said, “It’s Morning in America”, he was referring to the dawn of a bright new day for Our Country. Yet, this is not what I mean when I say “Good Morning”. What concerns me is that the vast majority of us have been asleep for far too long. Most of our fellow citizens have been mesmerized by the media and entertainment industries and led by many of our elected officials into an aire of complacency and a false sense of security. We have either forgotten or ignored the warnings of our Founders and been willing to surrender our freedom in exchange for what we thought was security. We focus on fame and those who are famous for being famous. Distracted by the glamour of the glamorous, we have been trained to accept events, people, and policies on face-value, especially if that face is one we find attractive. Most of the voters have been trained to vote for American Idols and treat elections as popularity contests. This is antithetical to the wishes or our Founders, who valued substance over style and content over superficiality. My Fellow Citizens, we have allowed our leaders to divert our focus away from those domestic enemies we once took for granted and are now losing every freedom and liberty that has been purchased by the blood of patriots. We have allowed the tyrants to pull the wool of propaganda over our eyes so that we could not see the shackles our government has been slowly placing on our lives. The 2008 election was a long time in coming and is the result of media spin which has made us too dizzy to think or see clearly. The result has been a takeover of Our Country by the government. Fortunately, the people of this great land have finally awakened to the slow Progressive coup and are ready to fight for all those Freedoms, Rights, and Liberties which have been paid for by over two centuries of Veteran Patriots. The sleeping giant has once more awakened and to that silent majority which can be silent no more, I now proudly say: Good Morning, USA!!! This is the start of a series of articles in which I will endeavor to tell you the truth which has been around you, but hidden by the enchantments of the various aspects of the media, including news and entertainment, television and the movies, and all the magical methods by which you have been fed lies and propaganda, believing it to be reality. This is your wake-up call, America. Good Morning. Glad you could join us. |

The Dictatorship – Piece by Piece by Randy Dunnigan Why must Obama and the Democrats be stopped? The simple answer is they are building a one-party political system that could result in dictatorship. What's the evidence for this fear? More than any other administration in history, the Obama White House is relying on unelected czars such as Cass Sunstein, Van Jones, Kenneth Feinberg and John Holdren. Overseeing the whole crew is czar-in-chief Rahm Emanuel, who skillfully works behind the scenes to enhance the president's power, while never having to face an election by a broad swath of the American people -- most of whom would find his crass insider dealings repugnant. The czars are scary for their backgrounds. Sunstein believes in FDR's socialist "Second Bill of Rights," while Jones is an outright 1960s-style communist. Even worse, these are not cabinet secretaries who fulfill a roll described legislatively by Congress and swear an oath to uphold the constitution and the law. These officials are personally loyal to Obama. They can also be replaced at will, which accentuates their subservience to the President rather than to official duty. And, as CNBC's Larry Kudlow has documented, many of these czars have been major donors to Obama, which further highlights their personal loyalty to him over official loyalty to the country (http://www.cnbc.com/id/31315388). The next area of concern is the president's brazen hypocrisy. Less than a year after co-sponsoring the Inspectors General Reform Act, Obama violated it in plain daylight when he fired AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin. Everything about the move flouted both the substance on the spirit of the law: The firing itself was explicitly illegal because he didn't give Walpin the required 30 days' notice, and because he wasn't provided with a written explanation for his dismissal. And, it violated the spirit of the law because it was taken in retribution for Walpin opposing openly corrupt misappropriation of government funds by Obama supporter Kevin Johnson. In other words, Walpin lost his job because his work brought him into conflict with a close personal ally of the president. It had nothing to do with a failure to do his job or to serve the public. This overt, self-serving and politically motivated act of political corruption was without parallel in the Bush administration and should have resulted in impeachment proceedings against the president. Another outright act in Obama's revolution was the Justice Department's decision to drop charges against Black Panthers Jerry Jackson and Samir Shabazz, who openly violated voting laws in Philadelphia. From all appearances, these defendants looked guiltier than sin. And, Attorney General Eric Holder took the completely unprecedented action of dismissing the charges despite the defendants refusing to enter a plea. Under normal Justice Department procedure, that would result in a default judgment against them. But who needs normal procedures when you have Obama's discretion? Once again, we find the enforcement of the law used for the personal political desires of the president rather than for its intended legal objectives. This also happened in May and June when Obama violated the bankruptcy laws by forcibly subordinating billions of dollars of Chrysler and General Motors debt to the claims of the unions. Then car-czar Stephen Rattner -- who has since resigned because he's too corrupt for even this White House -- usurped from Chrysler's management the authority to close car dealerships. He then proceeded to shut down locations in a completely arbitrary and politically questionable fashion. Many Republicans lost their dealerships while the politically-connected RLJ-McClarty Johnson group emerged unscathed. The McClarty group probably deserved to keep its business because of its success, but once again we find that decisions where made without any adherence to law or system. It was completely arbitrary and at the discretion of White House officials personally accountable to Obama alone. Even if there was no wrongdoing in this case, the administration's failure to follow an independent review process reflects an underlying belief it's above the law. "Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people." - John Quincy Adams Read the rest here: Dictatorship |

or Lies - You Decide by Tom Blom 9/12 was a rousing success. NJ gubernatorial election on 11/3/09 is next. Much has been written about President Obama’s speech to Congress last Wednesday, 9/9/09. I am going to offer a few points and comparisons in this letter that should scare everyone away from endorsing or accepting the idea of a government solution as proposed by Obama specifically or Congress generally. First and foremost, let me emphatically note to all who did not have a chance to attend the 9/12 gathering in Washington that it was a stunning, rousing, unequaled success. The FreedomWorks folks and Glenn Beck deserve our sincere appreciation and gratitude. I am still giddy from the experience. It was history. Senator DeMint, as the only one there, shall be known as the liger of the Senate henceforth (Napoleon Dynamite reference). Georgians who were not able to attend due to the distance now have the grand opportunity to “storm” Atlanta’s Carter Center and tell that washed up peanut farmer to put a sock in it. Obama’s health care presentation to the joint session of Congress was the antithesis of the 9/12 Tea Party. It was dishonest just as Joe Wilson told us [1]. A lot of Americans don’t really expect much better from the President anymore now that the magic is gone – especially in light of the recent ACORN revelations. Try as he might, this connection he will not shake. On the other hand, we should expect the Republicans to find their souls – ALL OF THEM. It was disgusting to see John McCain once again stepping above and beyond in offering an enthusiastic thumb up beyond the required applause lines. Even funnier was Graham all geared up to clap away when he suddenly realized that a camera had focused in. The brothers McCraham need to be sent packing. Focus on cleaning up the Republican Party because the Democrats don’t have the fortitude to pull Obama’s agenda on party line. They need a couple of Republicans to join their ranks to cover. See Cap’n’Trade… To the speech… The President elaborated on some priorities he thought important. Interestingly enough, he can only speak in theories and dreamy visions. It all sounds good, but he does not draft laws. He cannot order his priorities to be penned; well that’s how it is supposed to be. We have a Congress for that. Similar to all the criticism about corporate boards simply rubberstamping executives’ [3] wishes, it needs to be stated that Obama should be accountable to the American board. That distinction makes the entire speech more entertaining than substantive. There was the line about America being the only advanced democracy (we’ll let that stand because it’s not important in this discussion) on Earth without a decent health insurance system. He is not worldly enough to know that people in the European Union shop among the countries to find proper care. An example being a German/Swedish couple making a living from finding medical care for Swedes in Germany because the Swedish system is less than stellar – and expensive. The speech also discounts all we’ve learned about the UK and Canada. Read the rest here: Liar |
